How the rate is worked out

Three direct COREZ/TX markets are read: the Cruise Control pool, the TXDex pool, and the TX network's native order book, traded through TXDex. Most of the TXDex pool's liquidity is provided by the Coreezy Treasury; it is included like any other pool.

A market counts only if it has at least 1,000 TX of buying and selling within 2% of its price, so small orders can't set the rate. When more than one counts, each is weighted by that liquidity, so a deeper market counts for more. If they differ by more than 5%, each market's price is shown next to the merged rate.

The pool's price is the TX in the pool divided by the COREZ in it, before its fee. The order book's price is the midpoint between the best buy and sell prices once 1,000 TX is available on each side. The average is the pool's own on-chain price record over the last hour.
